Do you personally know a translator? That is, besides me, of course!ūüėÄ Have you ever wondered what it would be like to be a translator for a day? Maybe you have never thought about it, but if you have, kudos to you!

I often reflect on the translation and interpretation industry and the types of folks that are attracted to this work. I typically say that people who work with languages are quirky, inquisitive, and intense.  In fact, those are some of the adjectives often used to describe me!

One of the best things about working with written translations is that our language experts get to work with all types of documents, covering a wide array of topics and industries. I believe that the eclectic nature of the work is what attracts us quirky types!

I, for one, thrive on the eclectic nature of our work, and, as someone with a thirst for knowledge,¬†I truly¬†enjoy learning from our clients.¬†At MAPA we are fortunate to work with nonprofits, K-12 school districts, small businesses, state governments¬†and municipalities, corporations, advertising¬†and communications agencies… and so much more!

I am grateful for working in a line of business that provides me with a great source of satisfaction and gets me fired up in the morning. I also love sharing my passion for translation with others.

SO, if you are interested in learning more about the work we do, how we do it, and how to best utilize the services of a translation agency, please join me on¬†Thursday, August, 27th at¬†12 noon EST¬†for the next ‚ÄúAsk the Translation Expert‚ÄĚ with yours truly¬†via¬†Instagram¬†live.

I look forward to sharing my translation tips and tricks with you LIVE!

Ciao for now!
